It can be an exciting but lonely transition into parenthood, even for the seasoned mother! I have started a support group with moms who are walking the parenting journey and are in need of some friendship, support and a reason to get out of the house! We will be tackling some useful topics together, including navigating the change in other relationships, self-care, good-enough parenting, and many others.
The group is open to mothers of children under 1 year of age and can be referred by their psychologist, psychiatrist or self-referred. In order to make sure that the group is a warm and safe space each prospective member will be screened by me first in an individual session.
